Dogs
DHLPP - Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo virus
Puppies should be vaccinated beginning at 6 weeks and then every 3-4 weeks until they are 16 weeks of age.
Adult dogs should be vaccinated yearly.
Corona virus
Puppies should be vaccinated at 6 weeks and 12 weeks. Adult dogs should be vaccinated yearly if they are
going to be boarded or go to dog parks.
Bordatella-Parainfluenza (kennel cough)
Puppies should be vaccinated no earlier than 8 weeks.Adults should be vaccinated at least 3 days before
entering a kennel or boarding facility, or every 6 months to annually if they frequent dog parks.
Rabies
Puppies can be vaccinated beginning at 4 months.Vaccine is repeated in one year, and then adult dogs every 3
years thereafter. Rabies vaccines are required by law and necessary for dog licensing.
Cats
FVRCP - Feline Viral Rhinotacheitis, Calici virus, Panleukopenia
Kittens should be vaccinated every 6 weeks and then every 3-4 weeks thereafter until 16 weeks of age.
Adults should be vaccinated yearly.
FELV - Feline Leukemia Virus
Kittens should be tested at 9 weeks.The first vaccination is given at 9 weeks and repeated every 3-4 weeks.
If the possibility of exposure to the virus exists, vaccinate at 9, 12 and 15 weeks of age as well.Adult cats
should be vaccinated yearly.
FIP - Feline Infectious Peritonitis
Kittens should be vaccinated at 16 weeks and booster revaccinated in 3-4 weeks.Adults should be vaccinated yearly.
Rabies
Kittens should be vaccinated at 4 months with a booster given after a year.Adults can be vaccinated every 3 years thereafter.
