DONOR PRIVACY POLICY

Pet Orphans of Southern California (POSC) respects the privacy of its donors and has put in place a Donor Privacy Policy to honor your rights.

POSC collects and uses personal information such as: name, address, phone number, and email address when a donor voluntarily provides it to us. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used by our Development and Accounting Department for communication and budgeting activities.

POSC does not sell, trade, or share donor information with any other organizations. Personal account information is never disclosed for any purpose.

In addition, POSC subscribes to the Donor Bill of Rights created by the American Association of Fund Raising Counsel (AAFRC) and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) to ensure that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the causes they are asked to support.
